Jeremy Borash hosts a UK TNA Fan Party

Jeremy Borash hosts a UK TNA Fan Party

By Phil Allely

Recently TNA ring announcer and crowd warmer extraordinaire Jeremy Borash hosted an exclusive TNA UK Fan Party in London. Borash was travelling around the city to pass out invites to TNA fans who followed his twitter feed and face book updates.

I have received this report on what went down from long time TNA fan Mark Richards who was on hand at the Leicester Clock Tower, following a Borash tweet, there Mark joined a huge crowd of TNA fans to receive tickets to the party at the exclusive secret location of the swanky Babble Night Club in London’s Mayfair area of the City. TNA merchandise was given out and JB himself chatted about the company to the mass of fans for over 45 minutes.

The party itself was a big surprise to all who attended. Borash announcing that the whole event came about after the huge success of TNA’s debut on Challenge TV in the UK, the feedback of face book and twitter fans of the company and that ‘this was a small thank you for helping TNA make a triumphant return to TV’ here.

There were two editions of the popular Spin Cycle feature of TNA programming recorded in frnot of the fans, featuring Sun Sport Wrestlecast man Joel Ross, musician Get cape, Wear Cape Fly, Queen’s Footman David Dellie and special guest Douglas Williams on the panel.

The Spin Cycle episodes covered such subjects as the upcoming Royal Wedding, the 2012 Olympic Games coming to London, and who was the greatest wrestler to come out of the UK. The second episode saw Douglas Williams feature in a "This is your life, Douglas Williams" style piece, featuring tales about Williams by several of his closest colleagues (including Alex Shane, Dean Ayass and the UK’s answer to Earl Hebner referee Steve Lynskey).

There was also the broadcast of the upcoming episode of TNA Impact! There were also live link ups throughout the day with such TNA stars as Karen Jarrett, Jeff Jarrett and of course company President Dixie carter, who received a huge pop from the crowd in attendance.

The event ended with everyone receiving autographed TNA merchandise and the heartfelt thanks of all in TNA, for making the whole thing such a success.

People may knock TNA, but they do always attempt to give the fans the very best experience they can, to host such an event here in UK is a testament to how seriously they take the market here, bringing Douglas William over to guest was a nice move, the addition of live pieces with Dixie, Jeff and Karen all helped make it special for all as well.
