Angelina Love Concussion Update
Angelina Love suffered yet another concussion this week, this time at the courtesy of Roxxi laveaux, this makes two for Love, one at the hands of Awesome Kong and now Laveaux. Of course in the wake of the Benoit tragedy, grapplers are very concerned when they receive a concussion.
Fans Hop Guard Rail On Smackdown
I hear some fans/or a fan hopped the guardrail at thsi weeks smackdown, during the edgeheads segment, seems they were taken down by them and security, watch out for some strategic cuts during this weeks show.

Brooke Hogan In Car Crash
American Gladiator's Hulk Hogan's family is already going through the mill, his son Nick is in prison for severely injuring a pal in a car crash, his wife Linda is divorcing him and wants half his money, daughter Brooke was the only one who seemd fine, although pressure was showing as testified on her blog site recently when she ranted about peoples interest in her family. Unfortunatley now what must he the Hogan curse ahs struck Brooke too as not only has her music career faltered, but she has also been involved in a car crash too, luckilly she was unharmed, but i'm sure it was a wake up call for the family.
Missy Hyatt Hustles Heyman!
'Walking Riot' Missy Hyatt has done the unthinkable and played Paul Heyman at his own game in the current edition of the Heyman Hustle on www.thesun.co.uk's website. the former manager/valet and thorn in Heyman's side (from the old WCW days when he was Paul E Dangerously) makes a superb guest on the show. Watch it to see what i mean.
If you need remiinding here are a few pics of the woman herslef.
Sting Retirement Angle!
TNA star Sting is being groomed for a Ric Flair style send-off from the Florida-based group, in case he decideds to hang up his tights and face paint any time soon. Sting's contract with TNA is a yearly one, so he may decide to call it a day when it expires or perhaps stay on for a bit longer, as long as he keeps enjoying the in-ring stuff he will likely stay, but its goord to see the writing team preparing just in case.
Sting does not need the money, but does enjoy the limited action he sees with TNA, he does some tv and ppv work, but not house shows.
Sting is renowned for his WCW career and the enthusiasm he brings to TNA, he is also the biggest name wrestler to never have appeared in a WWE ring.
Rey Mysterio to Return Soon
Former world champion Rey Mysterio will likely be returning to the ring soon. he is currently sidelined with a bicep injury, but should be back in rings very soon indeed.

Picture Tribute To Shelley Martinez
Shelley Martinez is currently under contract to TNA as LAX's manager Salinas, here are a few pics of her including her previous guise as ECW's Ariel.
Khali A Star In India
The Great Khali is being hailed as a huge star upon his return to India. He has been promoted in his job as a police officer (even though he does not actually poractice), he is followed by news crews and many people keep a track fo his activities through news agencies. It's amazing that the former champion has so much positive publicity when his WWe career has been a rough ride indeed.
This superb promo for the WWE and Khali could lead to soem very profitable tours for the compnay and a nice contract for Khali too.

William Regal Suspended
Raw's William Regal has been suspeded for breaking the WWE's wellness policy. Its unknown what he has done, but this is his second failure and as such his career lies in limbo. he will be out 60 days.
This is of course a big blow to the man who has had a superb on-air high profile spot and just won the rejuvenated King Of the Ring tournament, surely he was being groomed for a title run of some description and now i'd say he has lost that opportunity.
What a shame as he is currently the UK's most famous star, This leaves my fellow countryman Finlay the only high profile UK/Irish WWE superstar at present.
I hope Darren Matthews (Regal) can sort himself out and claw back his WWE career.

Hulk Hogan Blames His Reality Show For Family Issues
The Hulkster has put some of the blame for his family's current situation down to their reality tv show. Hulk and Linda are going through a bitter divorce, Nick Hogan is in Jail after he crashed his car and seriously injured his passenger and Brooke is said to be pretty messed up by the whole situation.
It's laughable that Hogan woudl blame the relaity show as he and his family knew fine rightly that they would be uneder a microscope when participating in it, the show was to be a vehicle for his return to wrestling, Brooke's singing career and Nick's driving/racing ambitions.
Hulk is currently presenting the US version of Galdiators.

Scott Hall & Rehab
Scott Hall has recently left rehab to participate in a wrestling match and from all accounts he not only looked fit and well but interested in the rpoduct and passing on his knowledge to the youngsters on the card.
the former 'razor ramon ' has had a chequered past and still could offer much to the business (like his buddy kevin nash maybe).
Good luck Scott.
Doug Williams On His Way To TNA?
UK star and globetrotting wrestler Doug Williams is being tipped for a spot in TNA, perhaps as part of the upcoming X Cup.
He would make a welcome addition to the X Division roster.
Ultimate Warrior News
The Warrior has been putting pics of himself in training (on his official website) for his big in-ring comeback next month in Spain.
he can be seen with the likes of former WWE/ECW star RVD and others in the ring getting back into fighting shape.

Christy Hemme News
manager to the Rock n Rave Infection Christy Hemme is of course no slouch in the ring as a competitor too. but did you know she also fronts her own rock band.
called Hemme (no surprise there).
Roxxi Laveaux Loses Her Hair
So Roxxi Laveaux lost her hair at TNA's Sacrifice PPV, from what i hear she was more than up for the task at hand. After so long doing her gimmick Roxxi's hair was pretty weak and in need of some tlc, so a full shave down and regrow is prob the best thing for it. Here's hoping her sacrifice of her hair leads to some decent tv time and match-ups over the upcoming months.
TNA Sacrifice
See my full review on the sun's website very soon.
it was a great ppv with a few nice surprises too.

Nick Hogan Jailed
Hulk Hogan's son Nick has been jailed for 8 months for the car accident that left his friend in a coma.
This event has already seemingly split the whole Bollea family. it will be interesting to see how this latest part either makes of breaks the family.
Hulk is of course currently filming US Gladiators and battling his wife Linda for their fortune and the kids Brooke and Nick are in the middle.

Nash Part Two
In a different interview (this time for the Daily Star UK) Kevin Nash gives his comments on the upcoming UK Tour, Samoa Joe and Champ and why TNA built up slowly as a company rather than push themselves too far at first.
He also says something I mentioned on various blog entries and agree with fully.
TNA should try to extend their UK Tours beyond their initial plan, why not take in Scotland, Wales and of course my Home Turf Ireland. Belfast is ahot bed of wrestling fans and WWE regularly sell out their dates here in no time at all.
TNA representatives if you read this remember that Belfast based wrestling Journalist Phil Allely, I'm sure he'd love to be a part of a Tour of the UK and Ireland.
Enjoy the Nash interviews :o)

Nash Speaks Out
Kevin Nash is the subject of a nice interview over on The Sun newspaper's website.
It's a very honest and involving piece that sheds some light on the business and his thought on some of his peers and promotions he has been involved in.

ECW 100 Eps Old!!!
ECW Celebrates 100th Episode
Whilst it’s been universally condemned for being a watered down version of its hardcore predecessor the current ECW brand show by WWE has now notched up 100 episodes on the Sci-fi Channel where it airs in the US.
Debuting June 16th 2006, ECW has grown into one of the networks most popular programmes, receiving on average 2 million viewers each week.
The roster has changed greatly since that debut, the memory of the original One Night Stand PPV that spawned the show and stars like RVD, Sabu and the Sandman are now minimal, as a more WWE heavy roster mans the helm of the third brand.
ECW has evolved greatly and now differs very little from Raw or Smackdown, the stars of which now regularly appear on the programme, former WWE champion Kane is the current champion and such luminaries as Kurt Angle and Big Show have headed up the brand at some point.
Whilst it’s great to see the name linger and the spirit live on, this is ECW without the guts and enthusiasm of the Paul Heyman era.
Amazingly the success of ECW on Sci Fi means that it may outlive the original assuming it can maintain the viewers.

Hogan's New Wrestling Project A Go!
Hulk Hogan's much-hyped wrestling project has been taken up by a US country music channel (yes i know!!), seems their demographic will be huge wrestling fans. The shows will be a celebrity wrestling style one (hopefully more popular than the doomed UK show a few years back) where Hulk and co train a number of celebs in all manner of grappling terms etc before he, co-prodcuer Eric Bishoff and another unnamed as yet person judge and i assume vote them off.
Could be an interesting concept if done well.

LAX due for A TNA Push
With the addition of Hector Guerrero to the LAX team I envisage Homocide and Hernandez to receive some form of tag Title push in the upcoming months. They are a remarkable duo that can work different rates and handle all opponents, perhaps their talent has now been recognised as TNA have the upper hand over the WWE tag team wise and should rightly capitaliose on that.
