Sid To Return

As predicted when i reviewed his RF video interview Sid Eudy (Sid Vicious) has signed to a multi-appearance deal with NWA Florida, the massive grappler (former world champion)believes he is great shape and has one more run with the WWE or TNA left in him, his stint with the NWA is to let those comapnies see his worth.

Hogan's get slapped with a huge lawsuit

The Bollea family (Hulk Hogana nd wife Linda) have had a lawsuit presented against them over the car accident that left their son Nick's frind in a coma-like state.
It is said that the family have already had costs of over a million dollars to keep their son in a comfortable state and that will be the same for the rest of his life (most probably).

Hulk has been mentioned three times as he not only signed for his sons licence but owned the cars involved in the crash.

Its tough time sfor the Bollea's with the impending divorce proceedings too.

Can Joe Beat Angle

So in a few short weeks we get to see Samoa Joe battle Kurt Angle in the six sides of steel match at TNA Lockdown, Joe is more than ready to be the companys champ and would be perfect to bring over for their UK tour as that. the MMA training etc that both have been doing in preparation shold make the fight a classic as the steel virtually kills any chance of a run-in or distraction. a whole ppv of cage matches though thats another story, here's hoping the live audence can remain pumped up when the are faced wih a card of steel/gimmick matches.

Maria In Playboy!!

here's a sneak peek at the Playboy cover where the WWE's Maria is featured.

Wrestlemania Predictions

As always i try to predict the way title matches will go at the biggest WWE show of the year.

This year i'm predicting Undertaker will wint he title he was promised a long run with before injury fored him to drop it.
Also HHH will raise his strap and lead into a nice feud with the returning John VCena. this will of course take HHH one more reign closer to the legend Ric Flair's feat of 16.

speaking of Flair whether he falls to Michaels or not i would say we'll see him on screens and in rings for some time yet.

TNA Knockouts Triple Threat Match

The returning Gail Kim will battle current TNA women's champ Awesome Kong and ODB this weekend at the Destination X PPV, will Kim be able to regain her championship against such stiff opponents?

Former Nasty Boy MMA Debut

Fromer Nasty Boy Jerry Sags is to be the main focus of a US reality show, following the build up to his MMA debut against Jason Pharo. Sags and partner Brian Knobs were huge stars during their stints with The WWE/WWF and WCW in the 1990s. The pair recently were unsuccessful in a dark match tryout with the WWE, it will be interesting to see if Sags can make the switch to MMA action, his and Knobs ring style was always a hard-hitting one so things could look good.

TNA PPV This Weekend

Yes this Sunday is TNA's next PPV event Destination X, the card is shaping up nicely and will be on tv here in the UK on the Wednesday after the event March 12th, I'll add the full card soon and of course look ot for my review too.

In the meantime here's a pic of TNA champ Kurt Angle and his lovely wife Karen (both of whom will have a high profile appearance at the event i'm sure).

JR's blog some snippets

Jim Ross has updated his blog at his website. some snippets are: Finlay may get a title run in the future. Flair may not be retiring from the ring as soon as we are led to believe. a WCW War Games style match would be a great addition to a WWE ppv and that Mick Foley may be finished as an active wrestler, but could still offer much to the sport. No real insights there, but it's interesting to see what 'good old' JR has to say on the comapny that pay his wages.

WWE News

Matt Hardy has returned after his emergency apendectomy, expect him to continue his feud with MVP.
Batista V Umaga has been announced for Wrestlemania 24, it will be a match for brand supremacy.
Tammy 'Sunny' Sytch has hinted that she may be returning to WWE screens before the end of the year, she has recently been appearing at ROH shows amongst others.

more news and rumours as i get them.

Jake Roberts WWE Hall Of Famer!

Rumour has it that former WWE star and grappling legend Jake 'The Jake' Roberts is being lined up for a slot at this year's WWE Hall Of Fame ceremony. This would be a great boost for Jake who is one of the few people to take up the WWE's offer of rehab and is reportedly doing very well with it. A gifted ring psychologist Jake had many personal demons, but if he can shake them he still has a lot to offer the business.
